Academic Writing 

Throughout the semester students will be asked to write a total of 6 Tumblr blogs. Blog  prompts will be assigned on Thursdays in class, and students will have until midnight Sunday to respond to the blog prompt. These Tumblr blogs will allow students to further explore the themes and concepts of the course in a public forum which allows their writing to easily be shared with other studnets, and the public. Students will also have the chance to communicate with a blog pal across the two sections of English 130. Blog pals are designed to encourage peer-to-peer interaction beyond the physical classroom space.
